Word of the Year!

Hello All,

I know it has been so long since I have blogged. There has been a lot going on. But now since I am going to be losing my job on May 8th I will have all the time in the world to blog. Any way it is good to be back.

So here it is...... the word of the year is.............. BAILOUT!

The unfortunate thing about that being the word of the year is that every time I here it I throw up in my mouth just a little bit. Everybody needs to be bailed out. You know since I am a tax payer and I am the one paying for the bail out (pretty much) I would like to hire Dog the bounty hunter to go after the companies that got bailed out and aren't holding up their end of the deal.

Can you imagine Dog and his crew surrounding the corporate building of AIG. Leland and Duane Lee take the back to make sure none of the 73 executives taking the $160 million worth of bonuses escape out the back in their super expensive cars. Dog and his wife Beth go through the front. Dog gets a call......... it is a tip. They tell him that the executives have a private jet waiting to take them all on a retreat to the Bahamas that is going to be costing the tax payers $100 million. Finally the elevators open and here comes 10 of the execs. Duane Lee and Leland take'm out. The rest come willingly when they a mesmerized by the voluptuous Beth. While in the SUV's Dog tries to reason with some of them and tells them, "this isn't the life you want to lead. Do you really want to steal from the tax payers? The hard workers that bailed you out when you couldn't get your sh** together."

If you don't watch Dog the bounty hunter you probably won't get this all but when it comes down to it I just can't stand to hear that we bailed out a company 6 months or so ago with billions of dollars and now they are passing out $160 million worth of bonuses just to 73 executives in the company. These are the same executives that let the company get into trouble in the first place. But don't worry people, we may not be able to make them pay the bonuses back or even tax them on it but we learned a lesson. Yep that is what we are getting. We learned our lesson so that MAYBE it won't happen again. Wow! I feel so much better! Do you? ( I really hope you can feel the sarcasm in that)

Well until the next time

Much Love,
Michelle

Strongest woman I know.

I know usually my blogs are silly thoughts that I think about when at work and all of that but today I would like to be serious for a moment.

I would like to tell you about the strongest woman I know. That would be my sister Melissa. Most of you know her as Crazydaisy. But I know her as the strongest woman I have ever met. She has been in my life all of my life and that makes me the luckiest person in the world. I have spent the last 3 days with my sister through probably one of the hardest things she has ever had to go through and I have seen nothing but courage. Courage to start a new day, courage to keep on being the AWESOME parent she is and courage being one of the kindest human beings on the planet. I have looked up to my sister my entire life and she has been there for me through the hardest and the best times of my life. I couldn't have asked for a better sister. I look at her and I see the most beautiful woman in the world. Even when she is upset and down the glow that she has never fades. That is why she is the best parent, best wife, best sister and overall one the the greatest human beings I have had in my life. I am blessed to be able to call her sister and my best friend.

I know that only a few read my blog but I would like everyone that knows my sister and loves her to read this post. Pass it on so that those people that also feel blessed to know her and have her in their lives can also be thankful that there are people like Melissa in this world.
Today my blog is dedicated to my sister, my best friend. I love you Melissa.

Birthday Surprise!

Hello all my fellow bloggers. I hope you are all having a wonderful weekend. Yesterday was my sisters birthday and I wanted to blog about how special she is to me but my Internet was down so I was unable. So today I am going to tell you all about her birthday. I had been planning to surprise her with her dear friend JennyKate. So yesterday Jennykate flew to Denver (how awesome is that). My husband and I picked her up and from the airport and the plan was to meet up with my sister and her and her family and my mom for dinner. Of course she thought it was just my husband and I coming. I was so excited and both JennyKate and I had butterflies in our stomachs. So we pull up to the restaurant and my husband goes in first so that he can video the surprise. And that is what I am going to share with all of you.

So after the shock and the surprise we finally got a table and were able to eat. It was all good fun and what would a birthday dinner be with out a little singing.

So it all was wonderful, and the surprise was well deserved because I have the BEST sister in the whole world and I would do anything for her. I love you Missy and Happy Birthday!

Catch Up

So this weekend I caught up on my DVR. All the shows were back on last week so there was a lot on there. I love my shows and I love that I can DVR them and watch them when I want and faster because I can fast forward through the commercials. I just have to comment on one show. I love my Grey's and I am sure most people that watch do. If you don't just bare with me. I just want to know how far they are going to take this Denny thing. I mean can we say WEIRD! At first I thought it was a segway into them making the Izzy character go crazy because the writers were going to punish her but then they just carried on like eat was just there like everyone else. So now she has a relationship with her ghost of her dead husband and her real boyfriend. So now on this last episode she actually told her real boyfriend Alex that she sees her dead husband and that they hang out and DO things together. WHEN IS THE MADNESS GOING TO END! Even the Internet is wondering "what the heck?". So I just need to vent a little about that because my husband was sick of me asking him, "where are they going with this and how long is it going to last?"

Well anyway I just wanted to jot that down for all the Grey's fans out there. For the people that don't watch I apologize that you had to be put through the agony of this blog entry.

Until Next time....

Sorry About the paper clips !

Okay so I decided it was time to change the blog layout and I changed it to these paper clips all over the page and it was a DISASTER! So if anyone you went to my blog and had to look at it I truly do apologize for the hurt to your eyes.

It has been a while since I have posted so I apologize for that as well. Before the paper clip fiasco I was going to blog about the birds outside of my work. We have tons of geese that come and just chill in the grass all over at work. I don't really like birds they freak me out. So the last couple of days that have been right by the door when I was leaving and they just walk right up to you. I get so scared cause birds are mean. So then this crow flies over my head and lands in the middle of the geese and starts squawking at the geese. I am not kidding you people and then the geese were actually yelling back. It was going to be an all out gang bang against the the crow. I got the heck out of there! So I thought you would enjoy a picture that I snapped with my phone as I was literally running to my car.

I hope everyone out there had a wonderful holiday and a happy new year! Thanks for all your wonderful blogs I love reading them all.
