Only 4 more days til XMAS !

Hello all my fellow bloggers! I can't believe there are only 4 more days till Xmas. I am proud to say that my shopping is pretty much all done. That is good because on Monday I will be performing my civil duty for JURY DUTY. Can you believe it? Only 3 days before Xmas and I have to do jury duty. I guess all the criminals didn't get the memo that it is Xmas and maybe that should wait till after the new year to commit any crimes. Just goes to show you that there are some very selfish people in this world. Well anyway I will go and do what I can. People kept telling me to go and say I just hate all people and they will dismiss me. Well that is funny but I don't think I could actually do that. I will go and if I have to serve then I have to serve. If troops can be over in Iraq over Xmas serving our country the least I can do is serve on a jury regardless if it is 3 days before Xmas or not. I served on a jury the first time I ever got a jury notice when I was 18 and it was quite fascinating if I may say so. So I will go and if it at all seems interesting I will blog my findings.

OMG Toys R US is crazy !!

Okay so I was so excited today because my boss came by my desk at like 2 and said that I could go home if I wanted to. So I was stoked cause I needed to do some shopping. I had already decided what I was going to get my oldest niece for Xmas last week but my lovely sister called me on Saturday night and told me that she got it for her for her birthday because she didn't know what else to get. I threw a little fit with my sister and said she better come up with a good idea for me. She came through (as she always does) and told me she wanted this barbie thing. Today she called me and told me it was on sale at Toys R Us. I was like "that's great". So I planned on just swinging by and running in and getting it. That does not happen at Toys R Us I learned. First of all WOW do they have a lot of toys. I mean kids probably feel like one of those kids in the Willie Wonka movie when they walk into the Candy Factory when they walk through that store. So I go to the Barbie section............................. OMG do they really have that much stuff now for barbies. I was really excited when I finally found what I was looking for and it was on SALE.... YIPPPEEEE. Okay so I was making my way to the front to check out when I saw POUND PUPPIES. Do you remember pound puppies? I love them. And guess what? I still have mine. I almost bought one and then I realized how ridiculous that would be. Okay so I finally made it to the checkout counter and paid and left. Of course I had to walk far to my car because it was so packed in there and its like 9 degrees outside so I was freezing. So I decided to just head home and not do anymore shopping cause Toys R Us really took a lot out of me. I don't know how all you mom's do it out there.

Well I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying the holiday time. I can't believe it's almost over : (

Fabulous Friday

Hello Fellow Bloggers and Happy Fabulous Friday!

I finally got some of my xmas shopping done this week which makes me a feel a little better since xmas is right around the corner. I know that it is not Thankful Thursday but I would just like to say a couple of things that I am very thankful for this holiday year.

I am so thankful to be married to the best man in the whole world. He treats me so good and I am a very lucky woman.

I am so thankful for my family. They have been there for me through everything and they mean the world to me. Especially my lovely sister. She is the best sister I could ever have asked for and I just want her to know that she is always in my thoughts and I love her and my entire family very much.

I am thankful for good friends that make me smile and laugh. Jennykate and Lisa I love reading your blogs especially when I am having a tough day cause they always make me smile. By the way Lisa your dog looks just like mine. He is a huge Black Lab named Turbo. I will have to post a pic of him sometime.

Okay now back to Fabulous Friday! I hope the day goes by really fast so that I can start the wonderful weekend. But now I should get back to work cause I don't want to get in trouble for slacking off!!!

Its been awhile !

Hello Everyone!

I know its been awhile since I have blogged and I apologize. Today is my most favorite day Monday!!! (YA RIGHT). Anyway I got through it and its only 4 days more that I have to be at work.

I can't believe that Christmas is only 18 days away! We have this cute little counter that we change every day that holds up one of our stockings and it was so cute I just had to buy it. But now I really don't enjoy it because it is just a reminder that I ONLY HAVE 18 DAYS TO DO MY SHOPPING. And guess how much of it I have done........... NONE! I really need to try and not stress about it. But of course I am. My husband has even done some of his shopping already. I already have a present that is for me wrapped and under the tree. I need to get on it. I don't want to be going to the stores at the last minute because its crazy out there.

Okay one more thing. I have been told by one of my fellow bloggers that I am not paying attention to my awards that I have gotten. I want to apologize for that because I didn't know anything about these awards and I am still getting use to the whole blogging thing. So I just want to say sorry and I will do better.
